Boutique 20-year anniversary milestone

As many of you would already know, Boutique this year celebrates 20 years as the business of “Boutique Advisers”. The genesis of our financial advice business started in 1992, 31 years ago, however this 20-year anniversary marks the date of the new Boutique brand being borne for which we are all so very proud of.

The Boutique team, now with 8 financial advisers supported by a very experienced client management and technical team are here for the long-haul. We have positioned our business, like with our clients, to be generational. We are building our business with always an eye on the next generation so we can provide consistent advice and service to our clients, and to our client’s children.

An exciting transformation

To support the growth at Boutique & celebrate our 20 years in business in 2023, we are embarking on an exciting transformation!

In April 2023 we took over the entire tenancy at Level 3, 1 Outridge Crescent, Subiaco.  As a result of this, we will be undertaking a refurbishment of our office space in early July. With this will bring modern and more comfortable surroundings for our clients to relax and enjoy, and to create the very best working environment for our hard-working staff.

Our renovation dates and impact for you, our clients

We will start the major part on Friday 7th of July and due to demolition works, the office will be closed this day.

However, from Monday 10th July it will be business as usual for our team and clients. We have set up a temporary reception and meeting rooms in the new space.  As you come out of the lift take a turn to the right, instead of to the left. As always meetings can also be held online through Teams or via phone should you wish.

There may be some noise disruptions during this time therefore we apologise in advance for any inconvenience. Our builders will be trying to get as much done outside of office hours to minimise any interruptions.

We are really excited about the upcoming changes and the new space you will be welcomed back to.  This space has been designed to provide our clients and staff with comfortable and modern surroundings that will see us through the next ten years of our business.

Our business is growing

Our advice team is growing, and we want to help more clients. The breadth of our advice team means that we have advisers that cover all financial advice areas we appreciate all of our client and business partner referrals.

This means that unlike many Financial Service Firms which obtain a representative licence from a third-party licensee, our licence is issued to us directly but the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

We are, therefore not tied to a third party, its influences or its products and can build the advice and strategies most appropriate for you.

We are 100% privately owned by our people

We have no institutional or third-party ownership in our business. We are of strong conviction that we do not want to have any institutional ownership within our business, especially those who also have their own products and pose a substantial risk or threat of conflicted advice.

Independent and fee for service only

As a business we do not accept any commissions and are fee for service only. Our clients understand exactly what they are paying and we provide full transparency over costs.

Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA) Professional Designation

Boutique Advisers is a FAAA Professional Practice. To obtain and maintain this accreditation, our firm must continuously demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards, and we do so by committing to the FAAA code of Professional Practice.

In 2022 we were delighted to be named in the top 3 FAAA Professional Practices in Australia.
